Vinessa Antoine Returns for Season Two of SO HELP ME TODD!

Fans who miss seeing Vinessa Antoine as Jordan on GENERAL HOSPITAL can enjoy her newest role as Alex on the CBS primetime series SO HELP ME TODD!

“Season two premiere of SO HELP ME TODD is now airing on CBS and Paramount+,” the actress declared on Instagram. “Alex Parker’s shenanigans from season one continue this season in episode three onward. Do check it out. Enjoy!!”

Antoine had already enjoyed roles on series like SOUL FOOD, BEING ERICA, and HEARTLAND before joining the cast of GH in 2014 as Jordan Ashford. The actress exited the ABC soap in 2018 in order to star in the new legal drama DIGGSTOWN for four seasons. She then went on to play Simone on the Netflix series GINNY & GEORGIA  as well as Rachel in the upcoming feature film from Atom Egoyan titled Seven Veils.

SO HELP ME TODD stars Marcia Gay Harden as Margaret, a defense attorney, and Skylar Astin as Todd, her son who is a talented private investigator but the black sheep of the family. In exchange for getting criminal charges against him dropped, Todd goes to work at her law firm in Portland as an in-house investigator. Naturally, his anything-goes attitude doesn’t work well with his mother’s by-the-books style!

Antoine’s character of Alex Parker first appeared in the 20th episode of the dramedy’s first season. She is a forensic accountant who used her charms to hit it off with Tristen J. Winger’s Lyle, an investigator at the law firm. However, Alex was clearly investigating him, a storyline that will be picking up again as the second season gets underway.

SO HELP ME TODD airs Thursday evenings at 9 p.m. ET on CBS and streams the following day on Paramount+. The second season premiered on Feb. 15, and Antoine’s first episode back is scheduled to air on Thursday, Feb. 29, so check it out!
