Viron Weaver Celebrates His Anniversary as Wiley on GH!
Time sure flies when you’re having fun! Viron Weaver is already celebrating his first anniversary playing Wiley on GENERAL HOSPITAL! “One year at GH and it’s been the most fun of my seven years!” the little cutie shared on Instagram with a pic of himself at the studio holding up one finger to mark the occasion.
The center of an extended baby-switch storyline, Wiley became an immediate fan-favorite played from his 2018 birth by twins Erik and Theo Olson. Unfortunately, in 2021, the Olson family left the country to live in Europe, and the role was recast with Caleb and Kyler Ends, who had previously played Maxie and Nathan’s son, James, on GH. Then, in December 2021, Weaver took over the role of Michael’s son.
So it was Weaver who was portraying Wiley during the contentious battle when Nina sought visitation rights to her grandson. And after that attempt failed, Michael and Willow have since gone out of their way to cut Nina out of Wiley’s life completely. So while the little boy may want to see his grandma, his parents refuse to allow it.
Young Weaver’s career is only just starting out, so his resume only includes roles in the movies Fame-ish and BearCity 3 along with GH so far. But clearly, this talented little performer has great things ahead of him. Hopefully, that also includes many more episodes as Wiley on the ABC sudser. After all, there’s still the truth that Nina is Willow’s biological mother waiting to be revealed so Wiley may eventually get to see his grandma after all!
