On his birthday, GENERAL HOSPITAL star Wes Ramsey (Peter) reflected on what this day means to him with a beautifully heartfelt Instagram post. “In a year filled with so much turmoil, fear, violence, doubt, and heartwrenching loss, I take the simplest solace on this day in being able to wrap myself in this creative space (my happy place), where my imagination can still stretch and breathe,” he posted with a photo of his dressing room door. “Never taking for granted the gift of being here and all I have to be grateful for in my here and now.

His GH co-star — and real-life love — Laura Wright (Carly), responded to his post by commenting: “You’re an amazing man.” The actress also celebrated her beau’s big day by sharing a slew of her favorite photos of her “handsome fella” with a special birthday wish. “Life with you is just beautiful!” she declared. “I love being your girl. Happy happy birthday, baby!”
