William deVry Stars in a Romantic New Holiday Movie!

Tags:

Fans who miss seeing William deVry in daytime will be able to enjoy the actor as he stars in the romantic new holiday film Christmas at the Chalet opposite Teri Hatcher! “Who knew?” the actor teased as he shared the movie poster on his Instagram. “Rom-com with Teri Hatcher and the other dude. Christmas at le Chalet. Okay… the Chalet.”

The movie centers around ex-TV host and socialite Lex (Hatcher) finding herself sharing a luxury chalet with her son, ex-husband, and his new girlfriend. But after a problem with her reservation, the only way she can stay in the chalet is to work there. However, she soon finds herself documenting this new stage of her life for a rapidly growing group of online followers and also sparking romance with the chalet’s owner, Eric, played by deVry.

After a brief appearance as Tim Dolan on PORT CHARLES in 2002, deVry became well known to daytime viewers as the villainous Michael Cambias on ALL MY CHILDREN from 2003-04, earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his work. He then moved over to CBS to take over the role of Storm Logan on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL from 2006-08. In 2013, deVry began playing Derek Wells on GENERAL HOSPITAL, a character who was soon revealed to be the presumed-dead Julian Jerome. Loyal fans were saddened when the soap killed off the character in 2020.

In addition to his work in daytime, deVry has appeared in primetime shows like INSECURITY, NIKITA, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HEMLOCK GROVE, CASTLE, and NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

There is currently no official release date for Christmas at the Chalet, but it’s more than likely to be sometime in December in time for the holiday season. There is also no information as to where this production from writer Julia Cranney and director Lucie Guest will air, but it’ll probably be Lifetime. We’re sure you’re looking forward to seeing deVry on your screens again, so keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com and we’ll keep you updated as more information is released.
