William Lipton Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!
Ever since Cameron left Port Charles in March 2023, fans have eagerly been awaiting William Lipton’s return to GENERAL HOSPITAL. Well, they’re about to get their wish, but unfortunately, it’s only a short visit and not for a very pleasant occasion.
Soap Opera Digest broke the news that when family and friends gather together during the week of Feb. 5 to say goodbye to a presumed-dead Spencer, Cameron will be among the mourners.
After being played by a series of child actors since his birth in 2004 the character of Cameron was aged into a teen in 2018 with Cade McWatt portraying Liz’s son but he only aired for a couple of episodes before Lipton took over.
However, in March 2023, Cameron received a scholarship to Stanford University and left Port Charles to attend the school. And in reality, Lipton decided to step back from GH in order to focus on his education. At the time, the young actor assured fans that he was only taking some time off and would be “rejoining the cast in the summer.”
As viewers know, Cameron did not show up during the summer of 2023, but perhaps, after this visit home, Cameron could come back during this year’s summer months. Because Lipton and his character are still very much missed by fans!
