Catch up With Daytime Alum Kurt McKinney!

McKinney began training in martial arts at the age of 12 and made his film debut starring in the 1985 martial arts film No Retreat, No Surrender. He has also appeared in primetime series like GIMME A BREAK!, HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN, and ALF.

But ABC soap fans will remember McKinney best as the original Ned Ashton on GENERAL HOSPITAL from 1988-91 while CBS viewers loved him as Matt Reardon on GUIDING LIGHT, a role he played off and on from July 1994 until the soap’s end in 2009.

In recent years, McKinney has appeared on BLUE BLOODS and POWER as well as in the Gabriel’s Inferno series for Passionflix. He’s also working on a new martial arts film, The Last Kumite. He’ll have plenty to talk about, so make sure you check it out!
