Catch up With Soap Alum John Wesley Shipp

Don’t miss your chance to catch up with daytime alum John Wesley Shipp during a special live chat in The Locher Room on Friday, Jan. 6, at 3 p.m. ET!

Shipp made his daytime debut back in 1980 when he played Dr. Kelly Nelson on GUIDING LIGHT. He then played Doug Cummings on AS THE WORLD TURNS from 1985-86, earning himself his first Daytime Emmy Award. In 1987, he played Martin Ellis on SANTA BARBARA, for which he took home his second Emmy trophy. He has played two roles on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and another on ALL MY CHILDREN.

In primetime, Shipp starred as the titular superhero in the 1990’s series THE FLASH, going on to appear on shows like NYPD BLUE, SISTERS, DAWSON’S CREEK, DROP DEAD DIVA, and TEEN WOLF. He later returned to the role of The Flash in the CW series where he played both the main character’s father, Henry Allen, as well as Jay Garrick, the Flash of an alternate universe.

With all his daytime and primetime memories, plus his numerous roles on stage throughout his impressive career, Shipp will have plenty to talk about!
