Congratulations to AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Paul Leyden (Simon) who celebrated his first anniversary with his wife, Alexia Barlier on August 31! “One year ago I married the most incredible human being on this planet in front of best friends and family in the Swiss Alps!” he happily declared on Instagram. “We were married for a week before we were blessed with our little angel, Raphaëlle! Today she is 12 weeks old. If I had 1,000 lifetimes to live I would want to spend every day of all 1,000 lifetimes with Alexis!

“The most gorgeous, funny, loving, adventurous, talented, caring wife and now mother I could ever ask for,” he added. “You literally bring me a peace I never thought was possible. Boy, did I hit the jackpot! Happy Anniversary, my love!”

For her part, Barlier returned the sentiment on her own Instagram page. “Already one year that I said yes to Paul! And so much has happened since!” she exclaimed. “Our baby girl just turned 12 weeks! Thank you, my darling Paul for you and her! Being your wife and her mum is such a blessing! I couldn’t have wished for more love! You both make every moment that passes by so tender and extraordinary!” The actress, born and raised in Paris then repeated the message in a briefer form in French, which made it sound even more romantic!

The couple’s outdoor nuptials in the Swiss Alps was breathtakingly gorgeous and looked like something out of a movie. You can see for yourself in the special wedding photo gallery below!
