Y&R Stars Daniel Goddard and Christel Khalil Share a Heartfelt Message to Their Fans

Lily and Cane are back together again on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and “Lane” fans couldn’t be happier. In fact, to celebrate the couple’s reunion, some loyal viewers sent actors Christel Khalil and Daniel Goddard an assortment of cupcakes, some of which were decorated with photos of the popular supercouple!

“Every day I count my blessings,” Goddard shared on Instagram. “Every single day. Because life has a strange way of kicking you in the butt when you take it for granted! And this is something I appreciate more than you could ever imagine! Thank you to our loving, tireless fans who surprised us today with these incredible handmade cupcakes! You have been there from day one! And we couldn’t appreciate or love you more!” He then added the hashtags “#lanearmy,” “#worldsgreatestfans,” “#thankful,” and “#love.”

Khalil also expressed her gratitude on her own Instagram page. “Thank you to our Lane fans for the cupcakes!” she wrote. “Not only were they beautiful but delicious! You guys are the best.”

Lily and Cane hit a bit of a rough patch last year when Cane got drunk on a business trip in Tokyo and slept with his business associate, Juliet Helton. That was bad, but when Juliet got pregnant, things got worse! Tragically, Juliet passed away, leaving Cane to raise their son, Sam, on his own. He’s managed to win Lily back, but raising another woman’s child with her husband is going to be a difficult path to navigate. But after all that Lily and Cane have been through, there’s little doubt that they’ll make it in the end!

Keep scrolling down to see the delicious treats sent by fans and how much Goddard and Khalil enjoyed them!
