Emptiest Graveyard

We had a tough time getting worked up about the idea of Julie dying given the sheer number of people who joined the ranks of the living dead this year. Heck, Stefan’s heart may now beat in Julie’s chest, but we’re still not entirely convinced that he won’t, like dad Stefano so often did, stage a miraculous resurrection!

Saddest Hottie

Why must JJ be perpetually mopey? Between fighting with his amnesiac father and mooning over his nearly-deported girlfriend, the guy was the living embodiment of the pooper that every party reportedly has. We’d hoped that the time jump might put some pep in his step, but… yeah, no.

Most Entertaining Seduction

Everything about Greg Rikaart’s Leo Stark was a blast, but the highlight had to be watching him try to blackmail Xander into a tryst. Given that Paul Telfer’s Xander is basically a walking thirst trap, we couldn’t blame Leo for giving it his best shot!

From the moment the soap introduced Tionne Watkins (aka T-Boz) as Sheila, we were madly in love with the have-not who left us wanting more. And when Valerie left town, we assumed that the path would be clear for a Sheila/Abe pairing. Rumors are flying that Sheila might soon return, and that’s music to our ears.

Oddest Friendship

Who’d have thought that straight-arrow Maggie and twisted-as-they-come Xander would find common ground? Then again, given the matriarch’s marriage to villainous Victor, it probably shouldn’t surprise us that she managed to see the good in Sarah’s would-be beau!
