THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Melissa Ordway Finalizes Her Daughter’s Adoption!
Congratulations to Melissa Ordway (Abby, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), Justin Gaston (ex-Ben, DAYS OF OUR LIVES), and their daughter, Olivia, who officially became a family unit!
“Today was the second most special day of my life,” Ordway declared on Instagram. “Olivia’s adoption day! Surrounded by our family, the judge made Olivia officially a Gaston (even though she already was in our heart).”
“We cannot thank God enough for blessing our family with the most beautiful, smart, fun, little ray of sunshine,” Ordway added. “Olivia lights up every room she crawls in, and has brought us so much joy. We love you, Olivia. More than you will ever know!”
Ordway also shared a montage of family photos including a beautiful cake Olivia seemed to really love. “We call Adoption Day, Coronation Day!” the actress explained.
Olivia was born back in May of 2016, and the Y&R star was immediately smitten with the new addition to her family. The family also celebrated National Adoption Day in November by proclaiming, “Adoption is the greatest, most selfless gift.”
Olivia is just the cutest little girl, and we’re so happy she has found a home in such a wonderful family so full of love to give her. All the best to the entire family for a lifetime of happiness!
