B&B’s Karla Mosley Shares Her and Daughter Aurora’s Gorgeous Trip to Paris (EXCLUSIVE)

As world travelers go, the daughter of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Karla Mosley (Maya) has got to be one of the cutest! Little Aurora joined her folks early this year on an adventure to Paris, France, where they meandered scenic streets at the leisurely pace of a stroller ride!

An international flight with Aurora, just four months old at the time, proved smoother than Mosley had anticipated “except for the last leg, when we stopped on our way home in New York to see friends,” Mom admitted to Soaps In Depth. “That’s when she had a total meltdown for a good two hours!”

“Ro and I strolled along the Seine and the Champs-Élysées, and we saw art at the Centre Pompidou,” said Mom. “She loved the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower at night. She squealed with laughter, which was probably the most special moment!”

Though the weather was a bit chilly, the gray skies had a silver lining. “Aurora thankfully has the most adorable coat and hat, which were presents from friends and family who live in cooler climates,” Mom revealed.

Little did Mosley realize when taking this photo that Notre Dame’s spire would be lost in a tragic fire several months later. “On a prior visit, I had climbed up to the top and saw the gargoyles,” recalled the actress.

Because Aurora has an older half brother who lives in Paris, Mosley anticipates many more trips to the French capital. “I’m excited for her to travel regularly to France and surpass me in her knowledge of the language. Travel is extremely important for everyone, and I find that I always learn more about myself and my own culture by experiencing other cultures.”

“I don’t get to use the stroller very much in Los Angeles, because we are in the car so much,” said the actress, “so it was a real treat for her to be able to look around as we roamed the city.”

Mosley’s been taking French lessons recently and says the trip to Paris helped test her skills. “I was really happy to find that my French is improving!” she exclaimed. “I understood much more than I did the year before, and I’m getting more confident when speaking, as well.”

Though Mosley browsed the shelves at the century-old Shakespeare And Company bookstore on the Left Bank, she had to resist buying too much. “They wouldn’t let me take a bunch of books back on the plane, but I did come home with a few for Aurora.”

“The hardest part about traveling in Paris is that I eat gluten-free. Sometimes I can’t resist nibbling a piece of bread,” Mosley admitted, “but I always pay for it later. Happily, now there are tons of natural food stores and vegetarian options. I just love trying the food there!”
