Jason Thompson and Wife Paloma Jonas Welcome a Beautiful Baby Girl — See the First Photo!
Congratulations are in order for Jason Thompson (Billy, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) and his wife, Paloma Jonas — the couple welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family on Sept. 20! “Rome Coco Thompson,” the actor shared on Instagram with a gorgeous photo of the newborn. “Welcome to Earth.”
The couple publicly announced Paloma’s pregnancy back in May. “We’re really excited to bring a little sister into this world for Bowie,” Thompson tweeted of their second child. Rome joins her older brother, Bowie, who was born last year on May 23.
“The last year with our son, Bowie, has been the best of our lives,” Thompson told People. “I love being a dad, and we’re really looking forward to bringing a girl into our little family. No doubt Paloma is excited. Between me, Bowie, and our dog, she’s anticipating a sweeter smell in our home!”

On Mother’s Day, Thompson honored his wife with a beautiful Instagram photo of her and little Bowie comparing their bellies. “Words are inefficient,” he declared. “She is the best. Happy Mother’s Day my lady.”
Before joining Y&R in 2016 as the newest Billy Abbott, Thompson was a fan favorite for more than a decade as GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Dr. Patrick Drake where he was part of the popular supercouple nicknamed “Scrubs” with Kimberly McCullough’s Robin. (And since she just gave birth to her baby boy Otis a few months earlier, we look forward to seeing photos of the upcoming play dates!) During his run on GH, Thompson earned a total of five Daytime Emmy Award nominations, two in Supporting and three in the Lead Actor category. His wife, Paloma, runs a successful lingerie line called Valentine NYC.
