Justin Hartley May Leave THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS For Primetime

A new primetime series featuring Justin Hartley (Adam) has been picked up by NBC, but what does that mean for his job at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS?

The actor is part of the cast of the new dramedy THIS IS US, which stars Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. The series follows an ensemble whose paths cross and lives intertwine in unusual ways.

But will Hartley be able to appear in both primetime and daytime at once, or will he be forced to leave Genoa City behind? A rep for Y&R reminds Soaps In Depth that “it’s show policy that we don’t comment on the contract status of the cast.”
