Back in October, Steve Burton announced he would be leaving the role of Dylan on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and on Dec. 13, the actor revealed he’d finally wrapped taping on the soap.

“Great last day,” Burton tweeted. “Great people. Great place. Always grateful for my time there. Much love to cast and crew.”

Of course, the previous Saturday, that same cast and crew came together for a special goodbye party for the daytime star to wish him well. “We love you, Steve!” Lauralee Bell (Christine) posted with a pic from the get-together.

Daniel Goddard (Cane) shared a photo of himself with Burton and Bryton James (Devon), declaring, “To my left, two men I will trust ’til the day I die. Steve, you are a titan of unshakeable character. Enjoy your family, my friend!”

“Bittersweet fun last night,” on-screen mom Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) confessed of the party. “I will miss my sweet son!”

And on-screen wife Sharon Case (Sharon) declared simply, “We’re gonna miss you.”
