GH Alum Briana Nicole Henry’s Daughter is Six Months Old — See How She’s Grown!

“You have introduced me to my favorite version of myself,” Henry wrote in announcing her daughter’s February 28th birth. “Thanks for making the journey here with me little one. Welcome my Coda, I love you endlessly.”

“My little love. Happy one month since we made the journey together that was your birth,” Henry penned on March 28. “Still in disbelief that my body could create someone that is so awe-inspiring. An act of love is what got you here and what will keep you here. Your dad and I have adored drinking in every ounce of you.”

“Two months of waking with the sun and becoming companions with the moon. Of rocking you to sleep and figuring out what you need,” was the March 28 tribute Henry wrote to Coda. “Two months of saying I love you’s that are starting to get met with gummy smiles. You are the most beautiful thing I have ever done and it’s just the beginning of our story. Happy two months you brave, strong, silly girl.”

As Coda turned three months old, Henry wrote an introspective post about her ever-changing body post-pregnancy. “Some days I can look in the mirror and feel beautiful, others I’ve got to remind myself of why it’s deserving of more kindness than I feel capable of giving it sometimes. This is for all the mamas that gave up the bodies they knew to birth the people they love most. I see you and I’m healing with you. Happy three months my little Coda. My life is much cooler and much more filled with spit having you around.”

Along with motherhood came a whole different kind of wardrobe, Henry found out! “I’ve traded in my high-waisted jeans and crop tops, for now, for clothing that I can slip out of in a moment’s notice, due to breastfeeding or simply a spit-up explosion.”

“You make everything just more,” Henry wrote in celebration of her daughter’s milestone half-birthday. “We love you little. 👶🏽🐞”
