ALL MY CHILDREN’s Alec Musser Dead at 50
Fitness model and actor Alec Musser died Jan. 12 at the age of 50. The sad news was reported by his fiancée, Paige Press, in an Instagram story. “RIP to the love of my lie,” she wrote. “I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken.” A cause of death was not revealed.
Daytime fans will remember Musser as one of the contestants in the second season of SOAPnet’s I WANNA BE A SOAP STAR. He won and was awarded a 13-week contract on ALL MY CHILDREN where he took over the role of Del Henry which was previously played by Winsor Harmon in the ’90s. He debuted in 2005 and remained with the soap until 2007 playing the role of Dixie’s brother.
After leaving daytime, Musser appeared in television series like RITA ROCKS and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. He could also be seen in the movie Road to the Altar and the 2010 Adam Sandler comedy Grown Ups.
