Soap Opera Casting Secrets Revealed!

Learn the secrets behind casting your favorite soap operas when Emmy Award-winning casting director Judy Blye Wilson joins host Alan Locher in The Locher Room for a live interview on Friday, Sept. 23, at 3 p.m. ET!

Wilson has worked in daytime television for over 25 years, starting out on ABC sudser RYAN’S HOPE in 1981. In 1987, she moved over to ONE LIFE TO LIVE and in 1991, she was hired by Felicia Mini Behr to cast ALL MY CHILDREN. Following the cancelation of AMC in 2001, Wilson then moved over to CBS to become the casting director of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. She won three consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on AMC, and was responsible for casting many popular Pine Valley residents, including Sarah Michelle Gellar in 1993.

She will have plenty of stories to tell, so don’t miss this one!
