ATWT’s Dawson Takes The Stage
AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Trent Dawson (Henry) will be starring in a brand new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Bruce Norris entitled The Pain And The Itch. The subversive satire about the politics of class and race in the Pacific Palisades will be running from Saturday, October 26, through Sunday, December 1, at The Zephyr Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
Gathering together for Thanksgiving, a seemingly perfect family is thrown into chaos as a couple guests join in one of whom is Dawson’s character, a staunch Republican named Cash!
“The great thing about Bruce Norris’ plays is that they deal with both the personal and the political,” says the play’s director, Jennifer Chambers. “The situations he creates are tense and troubling, but also hilarious and true. He turns our perceptions completely upside down.”
