ATWT Star Is A Real Steel Magnolia

Since AS THE WORLD TURNS came to an end, Ellen Dolan (Margo) has been treading the boards, and when we ran into her recently, we discovered that her latest production is the classic play Steel Magnolias. Dolan will be playing the role of beauty salon owner Truvy, and jokes that she’s already been fitted with the big hair and the big… bosom to help get her into character (presumably modeled after Dolly Parton, who essayed the part in the film version!). The cast also had some help getting into the spirit of the heartbreaking and humorous play set in the South when they found themselves rehearsing in a space that had no air conditioning during the recent East Coast heatwave!
