B&B’s Clifton Pops The Question!

Last weekend, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Scott Clifton (Liam) announced via Twitter that Nicole Lampson was no longer his girlfriend — and then posted a picture of Nikki’s hand showing off a sparkling engagement ring!

“We’ve known we were planning on getting married since one of our first dates,” the actor tells Soaps In Depth. “When you know, you know. We’ve always been, in some sense, ‘engaged to be married.’ When I met her, we basically went on one date. She stayed at my house until five in the morning, then she had to leave and go do something. She came back the next night and she just never left.”

Clifton officially popped the question earlier this month, and now, Lampson has the bling to prove it! “She said she’d think about it. I’m still waiting to hear. She’s auditing my engagement ring,” he quips. “She said yes right away.”

Although the couple haven’t made any firm wedding plans, they have decided on the location. “I have a very, very small family, and she has a huge family. We’re not going to travel. We’re certainly going to try to get married here [in Los Angeles]. All of her family is local.”

No matter where the ceremony is held, Clifton just can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with Lampson. “One of the first things that drew me to her was that, intellectually speaking and comedically, she and I have the exact same sense of humor. When Nikki and I look at the world, we see the same thing. She truly understands how my mind works better than anybody else in the world. I feel the same way about her.”
