Branson Leaving Y&R!

Genoa City’s police department will soon be one detective short: Jeff Branson (Ronan) is once again exiting THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. Last spring, Branson took a hiatus from the show in order to film a movie, returning to the screen over the summer. Word is that it is the Emmy winner’s decision to leave the soap, but will he be gone for good?

Even though co-star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) confirmed the news of Branson’s exit on her Twitter page, a spokesperson for Y&R says that they do not comment on rumors.
