Who Is Cait Fairbanks? — Meet the Newcomer Playing Y&R’s Tessa!

When Tessa Porter made her debut on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, it left fans wondering about her portrayer. Who is Cait Fairbanks? Here’s a brief introduction to the talented actress/singer/songwriter!

Fairbanks developed a love for the stage when she was a little girl and as an adult appeared in the musical 13 at LA’s Mark Taper Forum and in Heathers The Musical at NY’s New World Stages. Moving into film and television, she appeared in primetime series like CSI: NY, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS, TWO AND A HALF MEN, THE MIDDLE, and K.C. UNDERCOVER.

Tessa was introduced as a music teacher for Reed, but the teen could very soon find himself falling for his instructor and penning love songs dedicated to her. When asked by a fan on Twitter how long she would be on the soap, Fairbanks responded, “I guess we’ll have to wait and see!”
