Catch up With KNOTS LANDING Star Constance McCashin

Catch up with KNOTS LANDING star Constance McCashin during a special live chat in The Locher Room on Friday, May 12, at 3 p.m. ET!

After getting her start in showbiz at a very early age on THE HOWDY DOODY SHOW, McCashin’s parents put the kibosh on her career so she could have a normal childhood. And 25 years later she moved into the famous cul de sac to play Laura Avery on primetime sudser KNOTS LANDING for nine years. She also appeared on BROOKLYN BRIDGE for two seasons as well as in episodes of FAMILY TIES, HOTEL, and IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT. McCashin could also be seen in movies like The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan, Nightmare at Bittercreek, and The Out-of-Towners.

While working on the CBS sitcom BROOKLYN BRIDGE, McCashin went to night school to get her master’s in psychology. After moving to Boston, she got a master’s in social work and then went on to work at the counseling center at Brandeis University while also teaching in their theater department. She currently works as a licensed independent clinical social worker.

McCashin will be reminiscing about KNOTS LANDING, her acting career, and her social work, so she’ll have lots to talk about! Don’t miss it!
