Flynn Shoots For The Moon

The phrase “Go big, or go home,” is an apt description for how THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Rome Flynn (Zende) approaches life, but when he came to Los Angeles several years back, abandoning a basketball scholarship to pursue his dream of acting, “going home” to his native Chicago simply wasn’t ever an option.

“I sometimes wondered if I made the right decision, but either way, I knew I would never leave California,” he says. “It was a choice between sunshine and cold, and, I mean, come on!”

Flynn recently sat down with Soaps In Depth to talk about the journey that led him from wannabe to working actor, including the surprise twist that helped spur him on to success! He may be B&B’s newest heartthrob, but that’s not at all how he sees himself.

“My angle was never to be a ‘sex symbol,’ though I will admit I’ve been working out more, because I pretty much live [shirtless] in that Forrester Sky Lounge on B&B!”
