Goddard’s Not Going Anywhere!

Ever since Cane was shot and killed on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, fans have been clamoring for his portrayer, Daniel Goddard, to return to the canvas for more than just ghostly appearances to his alter ego’s widow, Lily. This may be the good news Y&R fans have been hoping for: Soaps In Depth hears that — due in part to the fan support he’s received since Cane was killed off — Goddard is definitely not leaving the show, and will continue to appear beyond just figments of Lily’s imagination! A spokesperson for Y&R states that Goddard remains a contract player on the show.
