GH, B&B, and Y&R's January 23 Episodes Preempted

Unfortunately, the continuing news coverage of the presidential impeachment trial is continuing to affect the soaps, preempting daytime television and leaving fans twisting in the wind waiting for a new episode. On the plus side, viewers can take comfort in the fact that they are not missing anything because once again, GENERAL HOSPITAL, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS were preempted on Jan. 23. Although for Y&R fans, it did air in some areas, so if it wasn’t broadcast in your market, you’ll need to catch up online.

However, fans of DAYS OF OUR LIVES need to make sure they stay caught up as the NBC sudser has continued airing new episodes all this week and they’re flashbacks that reveal all the secrets from the time jump! If you can’t find DAYS airing on an alternative cable network in your area, you can always stay caught up via the soap’s official website.

At this time, it appears that ABC and CBS don’t want to make soap fans seek out their favorite shows in different time slots or networks or watch them online, so they are continuing to preempt the soaps.
