Justin Torkildsen Was Back at THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
It was a family reunion when Justin Torkildsen popped by THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL for a visit! “So great to see Justin in John McCook’s (Eric) dressing room today!” enthused Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) with her Instagram selfie. “John and I were Justin’s TV parents years ago.”
Longtime B&B fans will remember Torkildsen played Rick Forrester from 1996 until 2006. He took over for Jacob Young, and then Kyle Lowder took over for him. During his time on the soap, he was nominated twice for the Outstanding Younger Actor Daytime Emmy Award, taking home the gold in 2001.

“So I wandered into this place today,” Torkildsen joked of the photo he took in the Forrester office. “Thank you, Cynthia Popp and Christy Dooley for the amazing time.” And when Lang urged her TV son to visit more often, he replied. “Will do. See you soon!”
This, of course, sent B&B fans wishing the actor would return as Rick, since the character isn’t currently on the canvas. Since leaving the soap, Torkildsen as appeared in a few indie films like Skeletons in the Desert and Knife to a Gunfight, but whether or not a return to daytime is in the cards, only time will tell.
