March Takes To The Stage!

Tags:

If you are a fan of the 90s grunge band Nirvana and Forbes March (Mason, AS THE WORLD TURNS; Nash, ONE LIFE TO LIVE; Scott, ALL MY CHILDREN) you might want to check out the Barefoot Theatre Company’s new play, Verse Chorus Verse. March will star in the show — which making its New York premiere after debuting in Chicago a few months ago — at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre from Wednesday, October 26, through Saturday, November 12.

Based on the Nirvana song by the same name, Verse Chorus Verse is set 20 years after the suicide of the Seattle band’s lead singer, Kurt Cobain, and follows Polly, the haunted subject of the song, as she seeks out the rock star who wants to prove that Cobain’s 1994 death was actually a murder. Coincidentally, this year is the 20th Anniversary of Nirvana’s smash second album, Nevermind, which propelled the alternative rock band into mainstream popularity.
