NAACP Image Award Nominees Announced

Nominees for the 45th annual NAACP Image Awards have been announced, and the daytime drama categories include actors from GENERAL HOSPITAL, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS.

In the category of Outstanding Actor In A Daytime Drama Series, the nominees are Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R), Aaron D. Spears (Justin, B&B), Redaric Williams (Tyler, Y&R), Tequan Richmond (TJ, GH) and Lawrence Saint Victor (Carter, B&B).

Nominees for Outstanding Actress In A Daytime Drama Series are Tatyana Ali (ex-Roxanne, Y&R), Christel Khalil (Lily, Y&R), Karla Mosley (Maya, B&B), Angell Conwell (Leslie, Y&R) and Kristolyn Lloyd (Dayzee, B&B).

ALL MY CHILDREN alum Michael B. Jordan (Reggie) received a nomination for Outstanding Actor In A Motion Picture for his role in Fruitvale Station. Nia Long (Kat, GUIDING LIGHT) was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her work in Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES. And Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm, Y&R) was nominated for Outstanding Actor In A Drama Series for CRIMINAL MINDS.

The NAACP Image Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 22, and the show will be broadcast on TV One beginning with red carpet coverage beginning at 8:00 pm EST.
