Soap Stars Team for Wild New Movie ‘Four for Fun!’

Tags:

On THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Brytni Sarpy plays plenty of drama as Elena struggles with romantic woes, but in the new movie Four for Fun, her character faces some much more… dangerous woes! ”We had all the fun,” the actress posted on Instagram sharing a group photo from the film shoot that left her covered in blood. “Love you all. Can’t wait to see this baby fly…”

Sarpy’s former GENERAL HOSPITAL castmate Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) — she played Valerie Spencer on the ABC sudser — teased: “That’s why I make sure the lid is tight on my smoothies…” And Tamara Braun (Ava, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Kim, GH) joked: “Ouch! Put pressure on that wound!”

Four for Fun cast
“Films like this are only possible when everyone’s artistic passions are intact and on point,” declared actor/producer Young.Instagram

Standing with Sarpy in the pic are Four for Fun co-stars Jacob Young (ex-Rick, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL), Annika Foster, and Donovan Patton as well as DAYS alum Jason Cook (ex-Shawn), who wrote and directed the film! The story centers around Foster and Patton’s characters, who are invited to a dinner party hosted by Young and Sarpy’s alter egos. Foster’s character has a secret, and over the course of the film, 11 different scenarios play out with 11 different conclusions… one of which clearly involves Sarpy’s Desirae as the victim of a particularly violent attack!

“So proud to act with such a talented cast,” Young said about the film in his own Instagram post. “I’m also incredibly excited to call this the first full-length film I’ve produced on. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible writing, directing, and relentless vision of Jason Cook! Here’s to big things, team! More to come! Eyeballing Sundance!”

Four for Fun is currently in post-production with a projected release date of 2022. Naturally, you can keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com for more updates on the movie, including when and where you’ll be able to see it!
