B&B's Don Diamont Remembers His Craziest Scene Ever

Over the course of 30-plus years in daytime, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL star Don Diamont (Bill) has had some pretty memorable scenes. Then there are others he chooses to forget, like the time his THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS alter ego, Brad Carlton, proposed to Ashley by belting out a rap song called “When Will She Say Yes?” The actor admits it was tough to play the corny scene with a straight face. “Oh my god, I was in a cold sweat at the time”, he remembered. “I read it in the script and was like, ‘Wait… I’m doing what?!’”

But ever the professional, he decided to give it his all. “I was like, ‘All right, let’s jump in with both feet! Give me the chains! Give me the M.C. Hammer pants!’” Diamont said he’s not above making a fool of himself if need be. “At heart, I really am an idiot after all”, he laughed. “So while I was initially petrified of that scene, I decided, ‘Oh, to hell with it. I’m going to have fun!’ I have not thought about that scene in years!”
