Matula will be starring opposite Dylan McDermott in the workplace comedy set on the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the return trip on Sunday according to Deadline. The show centers around a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world and win big in the game of life. Matula’s role is Ronnie, the head flight attendant.
LA -> VEGAS is written by Lon Zimmet, who has also written for HAPPY ENDINGS and UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT, and is directed by Steve Levitan, who has worked on JUST SHOOT ME! and MODERN FAMILY.
Matula recently flexed her comedic muscles with a role as a female wrestler in the new Stephen Merchant film, Fighting With My Family, which co-stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vince Vaughan, and before that, starred in the second season of Lifetime’s hit series UNREAL.
