THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Reign Edwards Celebrates Her First Daytime Emmy Nomination!
In her first year as Nicole on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, Reign Edwards has already earned herself a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress! And she was so eager to find out the big news that she was tuned in to watch the announcement live on THE TALK!
“I was too impatient to wait until later,” she tells Soaps In Depth with a laugh. “I was with my family, and we had a big celebration. I had a moment. I’m still kind of on a high from it!”
When it came to selecting which episodes of B&B to submit to earn her nomination, Edwards relied on a very trusted opinion — and it wasn’t one of her co-stars! “It was just me and my mom,” she reveals. “We went with what our gut feeling was.”
The episodes they ultimately selected were the ones with Nicole at the restaurant with her parents, Vivienne and Julius, played by Outstanding Guest Performer nominees Anna Maria Horsford and Obba Babatundé. “Those were some of my favorite scenes to shoot,” Edwards confides.
