Y&R's Lexie Stevenson Proves She's a Natural Beauty

With a recent Instagram selfie, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS actress Lexie Stevenson (Mattie) proves that she is a natural beauty. Inspired by a makeup-free selfie posted by Jireh Noel Gerry, the sister of Stevenson’s Y&R sibling Noah Alexander Gerry (Charlie), the young daytime star got a make-under of her own.

“Also, I look a little different because I removed my eyelash extensions,” she explained. “I did this because I recently went through one of those ‘I’m ugly’ stages that we all go through. I was obsessively going to eyelash appointments, tanning, putting on tons of makeup, etc. But none of it was working, so I’ve decided to go the opposite direction and be 100% natural and force the mentality that people will have to take me as I am because I’m enough without all the extra bull—.”

Stevenson is a lovely young woman with or without makeup, and Y&R fans have enjoyed watching her as Mattie Ashby ever since she made her debut on the soap in May of 2017. And even as Lily and Cane’s daughter goes through the typical teen growing pains on-screen, her portrayer is also doing the same in real life. But she’s got the support of family, friends, and fans to get through it and come out stronger in the end!
