THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Chris McKenna (ex-Detective Harding) has a new primetime role!

The actor tweeted a selfie with the caption, “Seems the New Orleans PD needed some added muscle. Copy that. Officer Tate en route,” along with the tag for the primetime series NCIS: NEW ORLEANS.

McKenna previously appeared on an episode of NCIS: LOS ANGELES back in 2010 as an unnamed CIA Agent. Hopefully this Officer Tate is a far cry from Y&R’s psycho cop Harding!

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m E.T on CBS. When we have more information on his appearance, we’ll let you know. Check out his handsome selfie below!
