THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Alicia Coppola Cast in New Movie, ‘Cowgirl’s Story’
Alicia Coppola (Meredith, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) is joining the military for her newest role!
According to Deadline, the actress has joined the cast of Cowgirl’s Story as Lt. Helen Rhones, a helicopter pilot in Afghanistan and mother to the character played by Bailee Madison.
“Such a poignant tale,” Coppola said on Twitter of the film.

Inspired by Louisa May Alcott’s classic, Little Women, Cowgirl’s Story tells the tales of high school cowgirls holding down the homefront while their military parents are on duty in Afghanistan.
Also appearing in the film is DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Jordi Vilasuso (Dario), who happens to be married to Madison’s older sister, actress Kaitlin Riley! He’ll be playing Mike, although no further information about his character is currently available.
Cowgirl’s Story is currently slated for release in May of 2017.
