Y&R and B&B Preempted for March Madness This Week

Sorry, CBS soap fans, but it’s time for the annual March Madness preemptions for THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL. So prepare for some Wednesday cliffhangers for a chance as the two soaps will not air on Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22.

Even though this happens every year at this time, viewers still don’t appreciate missing out on their favorite soaps for sports. But on the plus side, because CBS will be airing college basketball both days, it’s a national preemption so fans don’t have to worry about having to go online to stream the episodes they missed. They won’t be on Paramount+ or CBS.com because they didn’t air at all.

And with Claire struggling to connect with her new family as the Newmans deal with Jordan on Y&R as well as Hope’s decision pitting the Forresters against Logans once again on B&B, there’s plenty of juicy drama that viewers won’t want to miss a single moment of.

So enjoy the breather because the action is going to pick up right where it left off on Wednesday when all-new episodes air again on Monday, March 25!
