Y&R’s Bryton James and Brytni Sarpy Moved In Together
Congratulations to real-life couple Bryton James and Brytni Sarpy, who have moved in together! The stars of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS are following in the footsteps of their fictional characters and took their relationship to the next step. “We actually just bought a condo together and moved in about a month before quarantine,” Sarpy revealed to CBS Watch Magazine. “Now we have the opportunity to really get used to the walls around us.
“If there ever was a test, I guess we go hard,” she laughed. “‘We’re going to move in together and spend 24 hours a day together!'”
Sarpy also admitted that she and James hit it off right away. “I showed up for my screen test and didn’t know where to park,” she confessed. “That was just the beginning of me getting lost at CBS! And he happened to be the person that I asked for help. I didn’t know he was the one I was going to screen test with until we went upstairs. We laughed and just had great chemistry and became fast friends.”
Of course, as viewers know, Elena and Devon quickly fell in love on Y&R and the same proved true for their portrayers on the set. “It was around the same time,” Sarpy confided. “Their ‘I love you” scene is really poignant because it was right around the time we also said ‘I love you.’ So it was so very, very real and so vulnerable. Bryton’s awesome.”
