Alison Sweeney Previews Her New Movie ‘The Wedding Veil Legacy’

Tags:

The third film in the Wedding Veil Trilogy of Hallmark movies brings together two stars from DAYS OF OUR LIVESAlison Sweeney (Sami) and Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas)! The pair reunite for The Wedding Veil Legacy, premiering on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on the Hallmark Channel! “I had so much fun making these movies,” Sweeney exclaimed on Instagram, “and it’s been so wonderful reading your reactions to the first two. I can’t wait to hear what you think of Tracy’s story.”

In this final chapter of the trilogy, Sweeney’s character of Tracy is still skeptical of the wedding veil’s legend, even after her two best friends — played by Lacey Chabert (Bianca, ALL MY CHILDREN) and Autumn Reeser — wound up getting married. Mostly because Tracy’s longtime relationship comes to an abrupt end when her boyfriend leaves her in New York City for his dream job in Los Angeles! But while at the tailor having the veil repaired, Tracy runs into Webster’s character, Nick, and one thing leads to another! As she continues to find herself drawn to the chef, Tracy begins to fall for Nick but isn’t quite ready to make a commitment. Is the wedding veil losing its power to lead people to their true loves?

While Emma and Avery believe in the magic of the veil the three women purchased, Tracy remains the practical, no-nonsense type. “She is definitely not a willing participant in the legend of the veil,” Sweeney laughed about her character in a behind-the-scenes video. “She’s a little more skeptical than her two best friends.”

However, when Nick shows up in her life, that begins to change. “She is completely blindsided by this wonderful, handsome, charming stranger,” Sweeney previews. “It’s really fun that Victor Webster is playing Nick. We worked together on DAYS and it was pretty funny to have this reunion.”
