Arianne Zucker Sues DAYS OF OUR LIVES Producers
Actress Arianne Zucker (Nicole, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) has filed a lawsuit against Corday Production Inc., the soap’s executive producer, Ken Corday, and former executive producer Albert Alarr alleging sexual harassment from the EP, who was replaced in August 2023.
TMZ, who broke the story, added that Zucker said when her contract with DAYS was running out in October, she attempted to renegotiate with Corday Productions but claimed they would not negotiate in “good faith.” The actress did not renew her contrtact and it expired in January 2024.
Zucker is currently suing for “harassment, discrimination, retaliation, negligent hiring and supervision, and wrongful termination” as well as other claims and is seeking unspecified damages.
Zucker first joined the cast of DAYS back in 1998 and after her exit in 2006, returned in 2008, remaining until 2017. Then in 2018, she reprised the role and returned full-time in 2019. While Nicole is currently off-screen after believing her baby died (the infant is actually being raised by Sloan), Zucker will be back to continue telling that particular storyline as DAYS shoots many months in advance. In fact, she should continue to air well into the middle of this year.
Shortly after the news broke, DAYS released a statement in response. Keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for more on this developing story.
