The Ben and Ciara Scene You Didn’t See in Monday’s DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Sometimes DAYS OF OUR LIVES is so jam-packed with drama that scenes can land on the cutting room floor when an episode runs a bit long. And on the June 22 episode, Ben and Ciara were both seen separately later in the show, but their scene together at the very top of the show never aired.

DAYS headwriter Ron Carlivati took to Twitter to describe the scene for fans of this supercouple who wanted to know what they missed. “Ben’s getting dressed for work,” he wrote. “Ciara’s concerned he’s going back to the garage; he and Jake could have been killed by those mobsters. Ben reassures her the thugs were rounded up and arrested. Ciara’s worried there could be more where that came from and if the top guy doesn’t get his book back, they could go after Jake or Ben again.”

Ben then assures Ciara, “Now that we’ve found Gwen, she’s hopefully given the book back to Jake, who will return it, and then everything will be fine.” But she’s not so confident, and the scribe ended the scene on an uncertain note. “Ciara urges Ben to be careful,” Carlivati said. “It’s only a few short weeks until their wedding. Ben tells her no way would he ever let anything interfere with that. He kisses her and goes.”
