DAYS Alums Casey Moss and True O’Brien are Engaged — Watch the Proposal!

Please join us in congratulating DAYS OF OUR LIVES alums Casey Moss (ex-JJ) and True O’Brien (ex-Paige) on their engagement! The actor shared a video of the proposal where he took his girlfriend to the edge of a cliff in Malibu overlooking the ocean and made her his fiancée. After they share a quick kiss, O’Brien reacts in delighted surprise as he suddenly gets down on one knee. Then we see him putting the ring on her finger and the happy couple embraces in joy. Unfortunately, we don’t get to hear the actual proposal or acceptance, because the clips are set to Whitesnake’s hit song “Is This Love!”

Along with the video, Moss shared a quote from the movie Good Will Hunting as spoken by Robin William’s character Sean Maguire. “People call these things imperfections, but they’re not. Oh, that’s the good stuff. And then we get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds. You’re not perfect, sport, and let me save you the suspense; this girl you meet, she’s not perfect, either. But the question is whether or not you’re perfect for each other.” He finished his post by writing in his own words, simply: “I love you, True.”

Over on her own Instagram, O’Brien shared her fiancé’s post and also credited her brother, Blake O’Brien, for the video editing. Then in a separate post of her own, the actress shared some more photos from the day as well as a movie quote of her own. However, she went with the romantic drama The Notebook’s “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird.”

Naturally, the comments filled up with tons of congratulations from friends and fans, including some of their former DAYS castmates. “Did I call it or did I [freakin’] call it!” teased Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail). “Sister intuition, baby! Congratulations!” Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) wrote: “Finally! I love you two. This makes me so very happy…”

Moss played JJ Deveraux on DAYS from 2013-20, and O’Brien portrayed Paige Larson from 2014-15, winning a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2016. (Moss was nominated for Younger Actor in 2018.) Their characters were paired together on the soap, and the couple started an off-screen romance in 2015. Now that they’re engaged to be married, we can’t wait to hear about the wedding plans!
