Casey Moss Returns to Days Of Our Lives!

A familiar face is winding its way back to Salem as Casey Moss is returning to Days of Our Lives as JJ Deveraux! The character hasn’t been seen since 2022, but if the reports that Abigail is really alive are true, JJ would definitely want to be around to see his sister again!

Fans were suspecting that Moss was coming back to DAYS and Soap Opera Digest is reporting that sources have indicated that the actor is already back on set shooting episodes. However, storyline details are naturally being kept hush-hush, and there’s no telling for how long he’ll be back. Given that DAYS currently tapes about seven months in advance, it’s understandable they’re keeping a lid on the storyline, and it unfortunately means that it could be quite some time before JJ is back on the screen.

Jack “JJ” Deveraux Jr. is the son of DAYS supercouple Jennifer Horton and Jack Deveraux, born in 2004. After a series of twins, JJ was aged up in 2013 with Moss taking over the role and the actor earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2018 for his work on the soap. While his run came to an end in February 2020, Moss reprised the role in November of that year and returned again in June 2022 for another visit.

The last time viewers saw JJ was back in late June 2022 when he returned to Salem to attend Abigail’s funeral. However, since recent DAYS spoilers show Clyde claiming to Chad that he never killed Abigail because she’s still alive, things could be about to turn upside down! Whether JJ returns to welcome Abigail back to life or if he comes back full of hope only to have it dashed, you’ll just have to stay tuned and find out!
