Ben was thrilled to discover Ciara alive but heartbroken to find she has no memories of recent years and considers him a vicious serial killer. Worse, she’s still living in the time of her life when she had feelings for Theo! “Ciara still doesn’t remember me,” he laments as Ciara grows closer to Theo, even sharing a kiss. Pushed to extremes, Ben realizes that the hypnosis isn’t going to work and he needs to go even further to make Ciara remember their love. The memory serum could be dangerous, but Ben wonders, “Maybe if she took it, she’ll remember who I am.” Ben sneaks into Ciara’s hospital room poised to inject his sleeping true love, but will he go through with it?
Chanel arrived in Salem hoping to live off her mother’s money, but Paulina immediately put a stop to her mooching, telling her spoiled daughter to get a job. But when Chanel ran into an extremely drunk Xander and discovered how wealthy the Kiriakis CEO is, she decided to go ahead and take advantage of the situation! With Eli in the doorway, Paulina barges into the room to find Chanel cozying up to a half-naked Zander. “This,” the young woman announces, waving her diamond ring, “is my husband.” Uh oh!
