DAYS OF OUR LIVES Star Lucas Adams Marries Shelby Wulfert!

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Adams! On October 15, DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Lucas Adams (Tripp) married his longtime girlfriend, Shelby Wulfert, a little more than a year after they got engaged, in an intimate ceremony, according to People. The ceremony and reception took place at the Chateau Hiddenwood estate in Waxahachie, Texas, not far from where Adams grew up in Bells.

“This marks the beginning of starting to really build our family together and what that means for us,” the glowing bride told People. “We want to have kids in a couple of years so starting to prepare for that next chapter of being parents and the next chapter of the rest of our lives.”

Adams and Wulfert met back in 2016 on the set of the Disney Channel kidcom LIV & MADDIE, where she was the body double for series star Dove Cameron, who played the show’s titular twins. Adams had a recurring role in Seasons 3 and 4 of the series as Maddie’s boyfriend, Josh Wilcox. “We were friends first,” Wulfert recalled. “And then after a while, Lucas was so sweet. He was like, ‘I have to tell you that I have a crush on you.’ And then after that, I was like, ‘Oh, thank goodness. I do too!’”

Six years later, Adams and Wulfert exchanged vows on a picturesque dock over a pond in front of 40 close friends and family members in a ceremony officiated by a close friend. Following the nuptials, the newlyweds and their guests dined on lasagna and meatballs while music from a Spotify playlist curated by the couple played in the background. A two-tiered cake decorated with greenery and florals matched the wedding’s color scheme — as did Adams’ green suit! The bride, meanwhile, wore a Jenny Yoo crepe satin gown that she confessed “was the first dress I tried on.” And the topper that decorated the wedding cake “is actually from my grandparents’ wedding in 1951.”

Following their wedding, the bride and groom headed off for a short honeymoon at the iconic Rosewood Mansion in Dallas — and Wulfert had big plans now that she is officially Mrs. Adams. “I’m really excited to come up with a bunch of husband nicknames for him,” she admitted. “All the different cringey things I can call him as my husband… the great hu-bino, you know, the options are endless.”

Please join us in congratulating Adams and Wulfert as they begin their life together as husband and wife!
