DAYS Star Martha Madison Launches Her New Business!

Please join us in wishing Martha Madison all the best as she launches her new business! Although best known for playing Belle on DAYS OF OUR LIVES and other acting roles (like filling in for Rebecca Herbst as Liz on GENERAL HOSPITAL for a month in 2011), the soap star has also owned restaurants with her husband, A.J. Gilbert, and is now branching out even further!

“Today is a big day for me!” Madison announced on Jan. 9. “I am absolutely ecstatic to announce the launch of my new recruitment agency, The Madison Collective, which will support talent acquisition for luxury and lifestyle hotel brands, destination resorts, independent and corporate restaurant groups, fine-dining concepts, members-only clubs, and private households.

“I’ve worked in the restaurant business since I was 16 years old (with 14 years in an owner/operator role),” she continued, “and I’ve been an executive recruiter within the industry for the past seven years.” She then joked: “Yes, all while defending all of Salem’s bad boys and/or sobbing at Marlena’s bedside every time she died!”

Madison explained her decision to leave DAYS back in August, and she last aired in November. Now, she’s ready to strike out and pursue something new! “Well, today I jump back into business ownership!” she exclaimed. “What is it they say… if it excites you and scares you to death, you should do it! So, here we are.

“Whether you’re looking for C-suite and senior level leadership for your hotel executive committee,” she added, “a membership director for your new private club, a beverage manager for your neighborhood restaurant, or a junior sous chef for your James Beard-awarded outlet, we are ready and able to assist.”

Congratulations to Madison on the new venture and hopefully, it’s a tremendous success! (Although we also hope we get to see the talented actress back on screen someday, too!)
