Isabel Durant Is the New Claire on DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Claire is getting a new look on DAYS OF OUR LIVES with Australian actress Isabel Durant taking over the role from Olivia Rose Keegan. The recast is expected to make her on-screen debut in the middle of August.

Durant is from Sydney, Australia, and broke into the business as a finalist on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE AUSTRALIA in 2010. Following that, she played the role of Grace Whitney on the Aussie teen drama DANCE ACADEMY and in 2014 joined the cast of MAKO: ISLAND OF SECRETS as the mermaid Ondina. The actress also appeared in the first episode of NBC’s THIS IS US and in the film Life Itself.

The character of Claire Brady was born back in 2005 and was aged into a teenager in 2015 when DAYS brought on Olivia Rose Keegan to play the role. During her time with the soap, Keegan was nominated three times for the Daytime Emmy Award in the Younger Actress category, taking home the trophy in 2020. Although her run came to an end in July 2019, Keegan reprised her role starting in June 2020. Stay tuned to see when Durant makes her debut and how she makes the character her own.
