DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Kate Mansi Married Blake Levin!

Tags:

Please join us in congratulating DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Kate Mansi (ex-Abigail), who married Blake Levin! However, it should really be happy anniversary as the pair actually tied the knot a year ago! “We got married in a fever,” Mansi posted to Instagram, referencing the global pandemic by quoting the opening line to Johnny Cash and June Carter’s song “Jackson.” And the date she put on the snaps was June 5, 2020, making this past weekend their first wedding anniversary!

Last spring, Mansi lamented on social media how the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to cancel all of her wedding plans including the bachelorette party, the bridal shower, and then the ceremony itself. And in the photos you can see by swiping through the Instagram post below, the happy couple are wearing rubber gloves and Levin even has a face mask peeking out of his shirt pocket instead of a boutonniere. They were joined by their dogs as well as a pair of witnesses to the happy occasion.

Mansi joined the cast of DAYS when she took over the role of Abigail Deveraux in March 2011 and remained until 2016 when the character was once again recast, this time with Marci Miller. In November 2018, Mansi returned to the role for a few months and then came back for another stint from November 2019 until May 2020, after which Miller returned again in September 2020.

In addition to her life as a newlywed, Mansi has been keeping busy, just wrapping her role starring as Hunter Clarkman in the upcoming TV series CASA GRANDE. Keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com for more on that show and when it makes its broadcast premiere.

All the best to the newlyweds for a lifetime of happiness together! And hopefully, with restrictions lifting, we can look forward to some photos from a big, happy (if slightly delayed) wedding reception!
