Leo Howard Is the New Tate on DAYS OF OUR LIVES

Don’t be startled when you see a new Tate on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. The soap is recasting the role with daytime newcomer Leo Howard. According to the show’s post on Twitter/X, viewers can expect to see Howard for the first time in the Friday, April 5, episode. 

Previous portrayer, Jamie Martin Mann, who assumed the role of Theresa and Brady’s son in October 2023, has left DAYS in order to focus on his education. “We wish him well on his college adventure!” the show posted.

While DAYS marks Howard’s daytime debut, the young actor has already built an impressive resume with appearances in movies like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Conan the Barbarian, as well as appearances in television series like MAJOR CRIMES, SANTA CLARITA DIET, WHY WOMEN KILL, and THE 100. His most recent role was starring as Ethan on The CW supernatural series LEGACIES.

Howard even had a connection to DAYS before he debuted on the soap — In July 2023, he announced his engagement to actress Natasha Hall, who recently filled in for Jessica Serfaty as Sloan for a handful of episodes!

With Tate out of the halfway house and back home now that Holly has admitted the truth to set him free, things will likely only get more complicated. Tate’s parents aren’t happy with what Holly did, but Tate’s feelings for Holly appear unchanged. So this young love will have quite the hurdles to overcome — stay tuned!
